We treat our bus riders like the priceless, precious cargo they are, and we are honored by your trust in us to provide transportation for your children to and from school and school-related activities. We will always do our very best to keep our students safe. To accomplish this, we need your (and your child’s) cooperation in upholding our schedule and rules.

Bus Routes - Current as of July 6, 2020

We adhere to the following schedule unless unforeseen or special circumstances arise.

Safety & Bus Conduct

Transportation is a privilege extended to students in CBESD. To ensure the safety of all parties, the driver, aide, and students must do everything possible to make it a safe and pleasant ride. Students who wish to ride the bus must consistently follow the safety rules and demonstrate acceptable behavior.

For everyone’s protection, we have equipped all of our buses with video and audio capabilities. We monitor live feeds while the buses are in use.

  • The bus driver is in control—cooperate!
  • Arrive on time and behave appropriately at your bus stop.
  • Walk in a safe and orderly manner onto the bus and to your assigned seat.
  • Sit quietly on your bottom and face forward.
  • Stay in your own space.
  • Keep your body entirely inside the bus, and keep your voice down.
  • Respect the bus driver and aide.
  • Take all your belongings with you as you carefully exit the bus.
  • Show kindness and respect to all.
  • Be on your best classroom behavior (as described by your attending school).

COVID-19 Safety Guidelines

For the health and well-being of all, we have implemented the following policy in response to the COVID-19 pandemic:

  • If you have tested positive or are showing COVID-19 symptoms, you must stay home.
  • If you have recently had close contact with a person with COVID-19, stay home and monitor your health for 14 days.
  • Parents, please reinforce handwashing with soap and water for at least 20 seconds before riding the school bus. If you do not have soap and water readily available, you may use hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol (for children who can safely use hand sanitizer).
  • We require anyone riding the bus to wear face coverings (bus drivers, aides, students). We will provide face coverings free of charge. Cloth face coverings protect other people in case you are infected and don’t know or do not have symptoms.
  • The bus driver or aide will take your temperature before you board the bus. We cannot permit students with a temperature over 100 degrees to ride the bus.
  • We have implemented a regular schedule for increased routine cleaning and disinfecting.

Symptoms may appear 2–14 days after exposure to the virus and include:

  • Fever or chills
  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • Fatigue
  • Muscle or body aches
  • Headache
  • New loss of taste or smell
  • Sore throat
  • Congestion or runny nose
  • Nausea or vomiting
  • Diarrhea
